File this under ridiculously American. The Omni San Diego Hotel is connected to the San Diego Padres stadium. The hotel offers a package that includes a room with a view of the baseball field, tickets to a Padres game, and Apple Pie for two.
The only thing that would make it more American is if they were playing the Washington Nationals and it included a meal of bloody steak and Idaho potatoes.
