Guest Review by Kurt “the pie-tamer”
The Sour Cream Lemon Pie [from Shari's] is a conundrum. It is both incredibly rich and surprisingly flavorless. With its combination of light yellow and bright white it is also not much to look at …and yet, I cannot bring myself to say that I would not order it again. It has an undeniable quality that cannot be explained in words. It must be tried. Do I suggest you try it? Yes. Do I expect it to be anyone’s favorite? Nope. But when is that a requirement for pie?
