Pie Review: Shari’s – Sour Cream Lemon

Guest Review by Kurt “the pie-tamer” The Sour Cream Lemon Pie [from Shari's] is a conundrum. It is both incredibly rich and surprisingly flavorless. Pie Review: Costco Bakery- Peach

This is a pie that happened to cross my path a couple of times in the last month. Costco has a reputation of producing pretty decent pies in its bakeries. They have an “ever-changing menu of cakes, cookies, muffins, scones, pies, tarts and sweet breads”. Typically they only [...]

Pie Review: Sweet Life Pâtisserie – Apple Pie

Let me preface this: Sweet Life Pâtisserie is one of, if not the best, places for dessert in Eugene, Oregon. I love them, so when I was in Eugene for the Conan O’Brien show, I had to stop and try their pie, because, for all the times I went there in college, I never had [...]
